Red Carpet Affair 2011 - THANK YOU!

For all the details of this year's very successful Red Carpet Affair, stay tuned for the Spring issue of Spinal Columns. In the meantime, we would like to say THANK YOU to the many supporters who made the Red Carpet Affair so successful! $100,000 was raised thanks to sponsors, table and ticket buyers, auction and prize, in-kind and client ticket donors, auction bidders, our many volunteers and the 500 people who attended on the big night. Of particular note, we must acknowledge our gala sponsor, James H. Brown & Associates, whose contributions come from each and every category of support shown above - something we do not see very often.

What a great way to celebrate 50 years of service to Albertans with spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities.

Highlights of the event included the best ever client and client family turnout! The opportunity to hear guest speaker James Sanders talk about his efforts to become a professional actor, writer and producer following his spinal cord injury and then to meet him face-to-face, was much more than inspirational. For some, it may have been an "aha" moment that will help to set their future direction.
